Another Source of Ideas for Joblessness -- From The Right

While the federal government and the Obama administration have done little to address directly the crisis of mass and long-term joblessness, the obvious severity of the situation has stimulated some constructive ideas from the right side of the political spectrum.

As reported in the Daily Beast, Michael Strain of the American Enterprise Institute has advanced some reasonable policy proposals to address what he describes as an "economic and human catastrophe".

As noted,  these ideas are unlikely to be adopted by the Republican Party and another reason to start looking outside the two-party duopoly.

  1. From the article: "In the years since the Great Recession, liberal ideas have been tried and found wanting."

I can't say that any liberal ideas have been adequately tested in their intended forms, having been bastardized by Republicans on the way through the process of their enactment. Then again, I imagine similar processes will impact the Republicans' attempts should they be given a swing.

Oh, the beauty of two parties!
